Optomedica Eye Consultants | Eye clinic in Houston, Texas

Eyes are important indicators of overall health, and comprehensive eye care goes beyond a prescription for glasses or contact lenses. At Optomedica Eye Consultants, we take the time to get to know you, your eye care history, and your vision needs. Our optometrist provides the expert care, advice, options, and follow up you need whether you are a new patient or an existing one.

Comprehensive eye care means more than just determining your prescription for glasses or contact lenses. Since the health of your eyes can indicate your overall health, we take care to examine your eyes thoroughly and care for the whole patient.

Dr. Castaneda keeps up with the latest developments in eye care, prescription lenses, and advances in contact lens technology. At our eye clinic, we provide everything from adult and children’s eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses, to eye emergencies, treatment of eye diseases and co-management of eye surgery such as LASIK.

I first went to optimedica right as covid started in March of 2020. And from the begining they have taken it seriously. And after almost dying from covid (fully vaxxed but was a breakthrough case) last summer. I am even more thankful they are taking it seriously. The receptionists, technicians, and assistants are all polite and awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable. Dr.Casteneda was amazing. Thorough and concise. She was professional and informed me of the tests she was doing and explained things in a way to put me at ease and answered all my questions. She really went above and beyond. They all did. And I will be more than happy to continue going here. And I would gladly recommend them to anyone.
